Work it Baby !
Shocking I know , I've only just belatedly watched Twilight Taylor's Full Moon ( If Only ) . Well its certainly not 'True Blood' or Poppy Z Brite's 'Lost Souls' or even 'The Lost Boys' . Joan Jett is so haunted by Vamp Rob ( who has left to Italy on a hot date with Cameron Bright in an almost cameo role ) she screams out in withering and forlorn agony .
Who then can sooth Joan Jetts inner torment ? Yes its Taylor and 'The Look' . Taylor employs ' The Look ' so well , you wish his CGI wolf could have the same camera loving stillness . While its not close to a prowl its certainly almost a presence , and a presence which combined with enough shirtless scenes that you get in Tarzan , you can quite see why the DVD's topping the charts .
But was the sequence where Joan Jett burns rubber stateside in a speeding sports car , to save Vamp Robert from a certainly more happier future with Cameron Vampire in Italy , a tribute to Ed Wood ?.
The scene which then cuts to a virgin airways plane ( an in joke perhaps pertaining to Bella much vaunted chastity ? I doubt it but you never know ) then cuts again to some awful back projection (worthy of the sixties television Batman in terms of quality ) of Joan speeding through the Italian county side in yet another sports car .
I do hope that Twilight Taylor's 'Total Ellipse of the Heart' directed by David Slade at least ups the quality of direction and filming . If not we always will have Taylor and 'The Look'
