Like Justin Long, Anton Yelchin certainly triggers that 'Wow , would have thought!? ' and what a pleasure it was to have that reaction on watching Anton in the 'Middle of Nowhere' where he plays Dorian in this kinda quirky comedy drama . In the story Dorian is sent away to the summer for last chance to shape up or face military school . Dorain lands a job at the local water park where teasingly he doesn't go shirtless , but looks fine anyway in his white life guard vest . Before you can say 'Weeds' , Dorain has teamed up Grace played by Eva Amurri and the pair are pot selling all over the town . Throw in Justin Chatwin as a preppy Playboy , Susan Sarandon as Eva's credit card abusing mom and Anton even recreates Nick Karmen's legendary Laundromat striptease (sadly not all the way) and you have a pretty sweet film to while away a summers evening .
