"So why would Jake visit Taylor in Nashville after all the backlash surrounding their relationship? Is he doing that patented guy thing where he senses the girl is on the verge of moving on, and suddenly decides he wants a second chance? Could it be they were just having a post-mortem “let’s be friends” chat? Or maybe we’re all just pawns in their publicity/promotion game and they were never an item at all.
