I Love these new shots of Super Tom as Clark back on the Kent farm for the final season opener of 'Smallville' . The funny thing is for me I remember when I first saw the first picture of Tom as Clark my initial reaction was oh , hes a great looking guy but I cant see him as Superman ,( but then I thought that about the first still I saw of Christopher Reeve in costume against the New York skyline too , oh dear ! ) one watch of the pilot show and I was won over pretty much instantly and have remained a fan of the show ever since .

As Clark has got older in the show , Tom now looks like for me more like a modern version of Superman than ever .

Oh Tom you super tease , At the CW Up fronts Tom looking even more handsome than ever was asked over and over by breathless reporters will he ever don the iconic Super Suit for Smallville's 10th and final season ? . Toms reply was a super shock ' I'm terrified of tights ' .

I know like me , fans of the show would love for Super Tom to do more than a shirt rip for the last scene , personally I think a super suited Tom would end the show on a high and be a sure fire ratings winner .
