One of the things I find interesting about photography in general are the photographers. Who is that mysterious person behind the lens? Linda McCartney was probably the first leading female rock photographer of the Sixties and one of my favorite photographers of all time. I actually have a couple of posts planned about Linda, but on this one, instead of focusing on the future icons she photographed, I'll focus on their photos of her.

This Will Be Our Year

Youthquake 2010: These images were taken by the great Steven Miesel for the January issue of Vogue. The photographs of model Sasha Pivovarova posing with up and coming bands harks back to the John French photoshoot that Pattie Boyd did with The Rolling Stones. Sasha also got to pose with Dhani Harrison for the Fashion Rocks: Here Comes the Son photoshoot way back in 2008.
