Behind the Photoshoot: Lennon and McCartney by David Bailey part tres

I finally got around to gathering these new Bailey contact sheets. Also included are individual contact sheets of John and Paul. For someone who didn't like the Beatles (especially Paul) David sure took a lot of pictures of them. He was probably just jealous.

Just John.

Just Paul.

Lo and behold, more of David Bailey's contact sheets have appeared! Oh, and don't bother posting these on tumblr, since they've already been posted and re-blogged hundreds of times.

So you might remember the photoshoot post I did about John and Paul here. Well, I found a Beatles fan/photographer's dream (well, my dream at least): David Bailey's contact sheets from that photoshoot! I just know there's more out there, and I'm on a mission to find them (not really, I'm hoping to just stumble upon them, like kind of what happened with these ones).

Photoshoot: Ossie Clark Invents Summer... Pattie Wears It

Pattie did a fab shoot wearing beautiful dresses by her favortie designer, Ossie Clark. Photos by David Bailey for UK Vogue, June 1969.

Rare Photographs: Chrissie Shrimpton and David Bailey

It's so so so hard to find pictures of Chrissie Shrimpton, even though she was a popular model in the sixties and dating Mick Jagger . Anyroad, I found this pic of Chrissie with David Bailey that I've never seen before.

John liked the photoshoot so much, that hung the picture of Paul and himself at his home studio. How sweet.

The cover of Entertainment Weekly. I love how you can see so much detail, it almost looks like it was taken today. The world's greatest songwriting duo of all time.
