Yes for sometime now the lovely Ben has been sulking away as Ryan in Corrie , mind you he has has had a lot to sulk about what with the death of his father , the death of his beloved Uncle Liam . If this wasn't enough Ryan was stalked by Alex a teenager who had a crush on him . Actually he did'nt . Infact it turned out that Alex was Michelle's ( Ryan's 'Mother' ) real son in and the baby's were swapped at birth . Holy Bold and the Beautiful .
Sadly due to some spooky form of a ban on shirtless action on Corrie unless you are over Twenty or your character is in hospital , Ryan rarely takes off more than his jumper and thats if its hot in the Rovers . Of course in my fantasy story line Todd played by the gorgeous Bruno Langley would return to the street and show Ryan a brighter side to life .
Away from the world of Soap ,Ben has a band Rusholme Ruffians and they caught my interest as they play acoustic covers of some truly great Manchester bands ' the Stone Roses ' 'James ' and of course the Smiths . As a Corrie fan himself I'm sure Morrissey who has a great eye for cover stars would find it highly flattering that Ben carries a torch for his old band . Though maybe as a guitar boy its Johnny Mar , Ben admires . I also noticed that The Rusholme Ruffians have a new member, the swoon tastic Oliver on percussion , how lovely .
