Rare Photographs: The Lennon's and Starkey's Holiday, 1966

Here are some beautiful, colorful photos of John & Cynthia & Ringo & Maureen's 1966 trip to Trinidad and Tobago. The 2 people pictured with them are the PM Dr. Eric Williams and his daughter, Erica.

Some pictures of John and Cyn from their trip to T&T (Ringo and Mo also went along). I think Ringo took these photos of them.

Rare Photographs: John and Cynthia Lennon

A photo of John and Cynthia that I've never seen before. Sometime around 1965, maybe on the set of Help!. Color is a bit strange, but John looks gorgeous, doesn't he? Despite those watermarks on his face, again.

An alternate shot of Cyn during her whimsical photoshoot with John at Kenwood. Great quality, it looks like it was taken yesterday!

The Apple Boutique: Where beautiful people can buy beautiful things

The first rockstars to open a clothing boutique were The Beatles in 1967. And like Themis, it seemed like a good idea at the time. But in the end it turned out to be disaster. At least it looked cool. Eric Clapton, Charlotte Martin, Keith and Kim Moon, along with other Swinging Londoners attended the grand opening.  Here's a video I found with some footage of the boutique's grand opening in color! And a picture of the inside of the boutique's dressing room area, in color as well!

p.s. Wouldn't it have been great if Jane had posed for the add with the other Beatle ladies instead of Jenny?  It would make the picture a lot more special and interesting I think. I wonder where she was, oh well, it's still such an iconic photograph.

Jenny Boyd worked at the boutique. And according to Wikipedia she, along with John's old Liverpool buddy Pete Shotton, managed the store.
