Book At Bedtime ...

Thanks to Vera who informed me that indeed their are a number of Taylor Launter biographies on the shelves right now at your local bookstore . Such works of literature clearly deserve more time and attention than Dreamboats can give them and are clearly suited to the Times Literary Supplement . Dreamboats though is nothing but egalitarian and although blogging space is tight at this time of year . I thought why not review a Taylor biography each day then at the end you can make an informed choice about which Taylor book you would like to take to bed .

The Taylor Launter Album by Amy Carpenter has a staggering 96 pages and 70 colour photographs, I feel though first the title is a tad misleading as its a book not a long playing record . Although Taylor did in fact form a boy band back in the day . Sadly the results of those prize recordings have never been heard out side of Taylor's inner circle . As Amy is a former Theologian Scholar I would have though she would be more precise .

Amy reveals how Taylor had to fight the recasting of Jacob and the 'punishing gym regime he undertook , his devotion to the Twi - Hard Fans , details of his dream girl and his hopes for the future .Clearly well researched Amy tells us that 'Taylor was blessed with extraordinary good looks and athleticism and was strikingly intelligent .As we know Taylor become a world champion at 10 years old as Amy writes 'for most people becoming a world champion in any field would represent the peak of a lifetimes achievement . But Taylor is such a unique individual whose precious talents and formidable self discipline compelled him to explore every atom of his limitless potential '. Taylor as Professor Stephen Hawking , who knew? , well Amy clearly does .

The readers reviews are in , Sarah ' The biggest Taylor fan' wants 2 more copies one so she can cut out all the pictures and stick them on her wall and another to keep pristine ,how Brea Hodge.

Of course amongst the glowing praise we find of course the odd dissenter.

Ms Billing writes ''How dare they even think of making a 'Taylor Lautner' Album when he is clearly inferior to the mighty beauty that is Robert Pattinson. I find it disgusting and shall complain to both waterstones and the company manufacturing/publishing this load of sick.'

Oh dear well I'm sure she feels better having got that off her chest . In fairness to Amy this does look like a good book , misleading title aside and the fact that one reader wants to cut it up speaks volumes to me about its quality .
