'I can hardly wait to hold you , feel my arms around you'
Was it really only suddenly last summer when I blogged about Amor Crudo / Raw Love ? why yes it was . Browsing Sundance 2010 , I was thrilled to see that the film has been selected for the shorts selection . I was even more thrilled when I found that one of the films Directors Martin Deus had uploaded the film to Daily motion in HD with subtitles for eyeryone to enjoy .
'Amor Crudo' is such a good short , you of course want to it expanded to a full movie , how did Ivan and JeremÃas meet? , did they watch Krampack together ? and what about the ending ? . Thinking about it now , the scenes with Jeremias and Ivan put me mind of a much underrated film ' Imaginary Heroes ' where caught up in the moment on New Years Eve , Emile Hearsh and Ryan Donowho share such a bewitching and bewildering kiss , you end up wanting the film to take a totally different path .
Anyway back to 'Amor Crudo' , do whizz over to Daily motion and watch a super short with wonderful performances by Juan Felipe Villanueva ( cascading curls) and Valentino Arocena ( dreamboat ) wonderfully natural cinematography by Sebastián Gallo and of course warm direction by Martin Deus and Juan Chappa.
